Acceptance - The First Key

As mentioned earlier, there is no evil in the world outside of what makes us happy or unhappy. What? Some will say, how can you make such a ridiculous statement? Can't you see all of the terrible things going on in the world? What about the wars, the poverty and disease to mention a few?
When you identify yourself strictly with your physical body then those so called terrible issues do come in to play. When you begin to identify with your soul body, those issues present in a different light. I am a parent with two young boys. At times they will play good guy, bad guy. The next day I see them, the younger is now playing the role of the good guy and my older son is now the bad guy. Do I get angry and punish my older child for playing the role of the bad guy? Of course not, because I love him no matter which role he decides to take today. I know tomorrow he will most likely forget today and play a different part. I know he is doing this in order to learn. But today he wields his little make believe gun around like a bad gangster shooting his little brother, both mom and me, if we happen to be in the vicinity. When he becomes a teenager, he will put away his make believe gun and pursue new endeavors, Girls. Oh my, I probably should get worried at that point! His life as a kid is long passed and as a little boy he thought and played as a one and it was important for him to do just that in order to learn the lessons of good guy, bad guy. As a teenager, he is a totally different looking person! His height is different, he doesn't play with his pet stuffed animal anymore. As a parent, I watch the transformation with total love and acceptance. Soon he will become an adult and the teenager that used to play guitar and listen to loud music is now working and taking care of the house, buying his own groceries and worrying about the finances. Next he'll be seeing his kid leave the house and spend his days not working, but reflecting on his life, maybe taking a cruise and making sure the doctor is taking good care of him. As he passed through this life he has been many different people physically, emotional and even mentally. He parents have always loved him even through thick and thin, knowing that this is the path he like most of choose to take toward enlightenment. Would God be any different? If the Divine Force didn't want you to do something, don't you think it is powerful enough to stop you? But it doesn't because it, like your parents loves you and accepts you for who you are and it understands why you have picked the choices you are now experiencing. We have all seen our physical bodies change through the years, but the shining light inside each of us stays the same, our souls. From the perspective of the soul, everything is happening for the greater good. Allowing the world to live as it chooses without judgment is taking the souls viewpoint. It sees the truth in allowing everyone here to live and experience the world of their choosing. This doesn't mean you aren't free to stop someone from hurting you or helping someone. It is in the judging that they are bad for doing it. If God said ...in the beginning his creation is good, then who am I to argue?
